Questions
How fast can you come? No-heat calls made by 2 p.m. get a truck the same day. After that you get the first truck at 6:30 the next morning, and we'll tell you how to keep the house warm until then.
What does the visit cost? The diagnostic visit is $89. If you go ahead with the repair, we take the $89 off.
Do you charge more at night or on weekends? No. A no-heat call costs the same at 6 a.m. on a Sunday as it does on a Tuesday afternoon.
Will I know the price before you start? Yes. The tech writes it on the work order and waits for your yes. If we find something else, we stop and write a new price.
Should I repair or replace? Under 15 years old, we usually fix it. Over 15, we write both prices on the same work order and you choose.
Why does a furnace need altitude setup? The air is thinner at 5,280 feet. We set every gas furnace to its maker's high-altitude spec so the burner gets the air it needs and burns clean.
Do you pull the permit? Yes. We pull it and book the city inspection on every replacement.
Which brands do you work on? Most major brands. Tell us what's on the rating plate and we'll tell you if we stock the parts.
Do you do heat pumps and air conditioning? Yes. We repair and replace both, and we can price a heat pump next to a gas furnace.

What should I check before I call? The thermostat is set to heat and has fresh batteries, the furnace switch is on, the breaker hasn't tripped and the filter isn't clogged.
What if I smell gas? Leave the house now and don't flip any switches. Call 911 or your gas company from outside, then call us.
